Overview:
The PhD in Business Studies at the Institute of Business Administration (IBA), Karachi, is a research-focused doctoral program designed to contribute to business knowledge and practice through impactful research. Established as Pakistan’s oldest business school in 1955 with the support of the Wharton School of Finance, University of Pennsylvania, IBA has played a pioneering role in business education in the country. The launch of the PhD in Business Studies represents a natural progression in strengthening the School of Business Studies’ (SBS) research culture and enhancing its national and international academic standing.
