December 07-08, 2023: The Quality Enhancement Cell (QEC) at IBA, Karachi, hosted a panel of experts by the Higher Education Commission (HEC) to assess and evaluate all the graduate and postgraduate programs.
During the two-day visit, program directors, chairpersons, and faculty members from the School of Business Studies actively engaged with the HEC panel. The discussions centered around the detailed overview of various graduate programs, including MBA, EMBA, MS Finance, MS Management, MS Islamic Banking & Finance, and MS Marketing.
The panel, consisting of experts from HEC, conducted meetings with program leaders, chairpersons, and deans. Additionally, valuable feedback was sought from faculty members and students to gain insights into the programs' strengths and areas for improvement. A comprehensive tour of the campus facilities was also conducted to assess the infrastructure supporting the academic offerings.
The culmination of the review activity featured a meeting between the HEC panel and key stakeholders, including Dr. S Akbar Zaidi, Executive Director of IBA, and Dr. Abdullah Zafar Sheikh, Dean of SBS. The panel shared their preliminary findings and engaged in meaningful discussions on their observations and perspectives.
