National Business Education Accreditation Council (NBEAC)
With a vision to enhance quality of business education in the country, National Business Education Accreditation Council (NBEAC), set up by the Higher Education Commission (HEC) Pakistan works to enhance quality of business education in the country.
Accreditation is an independent peer review process that validates that established standards of excellence set by the NBEAC are well met. This assures that the learners receive the quality of education in that program necessary for success in industry.
The business programs (BBA, BSAF and MBA) of the IBA Karachi have attained highest category accreditation since 2014, which is testament to the commitment to continuously seek ways in which to enhance the quality of business education. The accreditation is awarded for a five-year period.
Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) International (in progress)
The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB), a global nonprofit association, connects educators, students, and business to achieve a common goal: to create the next generation of great leaders.
Synonymous with the highest standards of excellence since 1916, AACSB provides quality assurance, business education intelligence, and learning and development services. AACSB's accreditation processes are ISO 9001:2015 certified. Achievement of AACSB accreditation is a symbol that school meets the highest standards of quality in business education.
The IBA-SBS is a member institution of the AACSB and is actively pursuing the coveted AACSB accreditation. AACSB has accepted the Initial Self Evaluation Report (iSER) of the school in 2022, and the school is now working towards closing the gaps.
