School of Business Studies at Institute of Business Administration senior faculty members hosted IBA alums in Chicago

October 8, 2023: The School of Business Studies at Institute of Business Administration senior faculty members, Dr. Sana Tauseef, Associate Professor Director QEC, and Dr. Nida Aslam Khan, Assistant Professor and Chairperson of the Department of Marketing, hosted IBA alums in Chicago at a brunch on Sunday 8th October 2023. The session was attended by IBA graduates from the 1970s, including Mr. Sami Ellam, one of the most senior and active members of the Chicago chapter.

The alum reunion was a rewarding experience that transcended time, bringing together individuals who shared a common bond and academic origins in the thriving city. The lively conversations reflected the spirit of camaraderie and a shared sense of alma mater pride. Throughout the exchange of anecdotes, appreciation for the education that had prepared them for success in their respective professions predominated. The faculty team shared the vision and mission of SBS IBA, which came into existence in 2020, including its progress in AACSB accreditation. Consul General Tariq Karim also joined the faculty and alums during the brunch. Who presented his vision of the Chicago Consul General and invited the IBA alums to reach out to him for any facilitation.

The meeting served as a nostalgic journey down memory lane and a venue for networking, mentoring, and exchanging valuable insights, demonstrating the enduring strength of the Chicago alum community. As the event drew to a close, a sense of unity and a shared commitment to giving back to the institution that had paved the way for their careers remained.
