Learning the dynamics of Marketing Strategy: MS Marketing Students visit to DEER Pencils

September 20, 2023: The School of Business Studies, SBS IBA, students visited the Indus Pencil Industries Private Ltd (IPI), Deer Pencils and Foods, on 20th September 2023.

The visit was organized under the tutelage of Dr. Nida Aslam Khan, Chairperson of the Marketing Department for the course Marketing Strategy.

The students had an interactive session with Mr. Raza Naeem, COO IPI, an IBA alumni of 2008. He shared the strategic direction and vision of the company. He also elaborated on the history of three generations sitting in the office for 60 years. He also discussed core competencies, functions, joint ventures, pricing strategies, marketing strategies, sales, and distribution network.

SBS - IBA will continue to interact with industry to build its linkages and develop understanding of local industries for the students.
