Welcome to SBS

Welcome to the School of Business Studies (SBS) at the Institute of Business Administration, Karachi—an institution with a proud legacy of academic excellence and leadership.

As an AACSB-accredited school, SBS stands among Pakistan’s leading business schools and within a distinguished global community committed to the highest standards of management education. Building on this achievement, we are marching decisively toward further prestigious international accreditations and greater global recognition.

Our greatest strength is our people. SBS brings together some of Pakistan’s leading business faculty, complemented by international academics and distinguished practitioners. Our programs combine academic rigor with contemporary business relevance, preparing graduates to lead with competence, integrity, and purpose.

SBS is among the few business schools in the region supported by both a high-profile International Advisory Board and an Industry Advisory Board, ensuring that our strategy remains globally informed and closely connected to practice. Our membership in UNICON further strengthens our engagement with the global executive education community.

Our ambition is clear: to build a business school of genuine international distinction—one that develops transformative leaders, produces consequential knowledge, and contributes decisively to Pakistan and the wider world.

Dr. Abdullah Sheikh – Dean, SBS
